Access Control enables you to manage who can view your content based on membership levels. You can use this feature to restrict access to individual videos, specific categories, or your entire content library.
If a customer attempts to access controlled content without the appropriate subscription they will be prompted which subscription is required for them to gain access.
How to Configure Access Control
- Navigate to VOD Settings:
- Log into your admin dashboard.
- Select ‘VOD Settings‘ > ‘Integration’ from the menu.
- Add or Modify Memberships:
- From the Integration section, add new memberships or modify existing ones to define which users have access to particular videos or categories.
- Ensure that each membership level is correctly configured for the content it should access.
- Apply Your Changes:
- Once you’ve made the necessary updates, click the Update button to apply the changes.
Additional Tips
- Test the access restrictions using different membership accounts to confirm that the desired content is appropriately gated.
