{"id":156,"date":"2020-12-20T21:44:23","date_gmt":"2020-12-20T21:44:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ipstudio.co\/support\/?post_type=vod&#038;p=156"},"modified":"2021-11-03T20:34:25","modified_gmt":"2021-11-03T20:34:25","slug":"publishing-audio-content","status":"publish","type":"vod","link":"https:\/\/ipstudio.co\/support\/vod\/publishing-audio-content\/","title":{"rendered":"Publishing Audio Content"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Audio<\/strong><br \/>\nFollow the instructions below to publish IPSTUDIO hosted audio, it&#8217;s very similar to publishing a video, except with minor (and temporary) differences:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Login to (<code>YourSubDomain<\/code>.yourdomain.com\/wp-admin)<\/li>\n<li>Click &#8216;Add new Video&#8217;<\/li>\n<li><span data-token-index=\"0\" data-reactroot=\"\">Avoid<\/span> uploading the the audio file, and instead skip the upload field<\/li>\n<li>Upload a thumbnail image<\/li>\n<li>Add a Title, Description (optional), Equipment, Instructor, Category.<\/li>\n<li>Scroll to the bottom of the page, select &#8216;Embed&#8217;, and paste in the embed code below<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Audio Embed Code Template<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&lt;iframe frameborder=&#8221;0&#8243; width=&#8221;100%&#8221; height=&#8221;250&#8243;src=&#8221;PASTE AUDIO FILE LINK HERE&#8221;&gt;<br \/>\n&lt;\/iframe&gt;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Scroll to the top of the page, and save the post as a Draft<\/li>\n<li>Navigate to the audio file you&#8217;ve uploaded by clicking &#8216;Media&#8217;, then click on the audio file you wish to utilize<\/li>\n<li>Copy the URL within &#8216;Copy Link&#8217;, then navigate back to your saved Draft by clicking &#8216;Videos&#8221; &gt; &#8216;Videos&#8217; &gt; &#8216;Edit&#8217; on the saved Draft<\/li>\n<li>Scroll to the bottom of the page, and replace &#8216;PASTE AUDIO FILE LINK HERE&#8217; with the audio file URL that you collected in the previous steps<\/li>\n<li>Scroll to the top of the page, and click &#8216;Publish&#8217;<\/li>\n<li>Once published, add a duration for your content at the top of the page<\/li>\n<li>Use the following notation: HH:MM:SS (Hours:Minutes:Seconds)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-73 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/ipstudio.co\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/audio-post-gif.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"1550\" height=\"838\"><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\"><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":0,"template":"","class_list":["post-156","vod","type-vod","status-publish","hentry"],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/ipstudio.co\/support\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/vod\/156","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/ipstudio.co\/support\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/vod"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/ipstudio.co\/support\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/vod"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/ipstudio.co\/support\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=156"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
